Churches of Christ Care embarked upon a major upgrade and additions to their Bribie Island based care facility from 2007-2009.

Dimond Architect’s role as designers of the project also included working with the organization establishing methodologies to assist with delivery of a highly complex development within the constraints of an existing 115 bed care facility.

Essential to this process was development of strategies which would minimize the impact of the project upon existing residents accommodated on site, and staff.

During this multiple staged building process, residents remained on site and were relocated as little as possible to assist with vital continuation of care and lifestyle.

The result underscores the successful outcome (in care and architectural terms) of a project which impacted virtually every existing room in the facility.
